Snoop Dogg Asks for Prayers for His Mother

This Mother’s Day will be a difficult one for Snoop Dogg, who revealed that his mother, Beverly Broadus-Green, is not well. The rap icon didn’t specify what was wrong, but he posted a photo of his mom while asking his 58 million Instagram followers to keep her in their prayers.

“I need all my prayer warriors for momma right now please and thank you,” wrote Snoop.

He received support from fans and famous friends including Busta Rhymes, D Smoke, and Trae tha Truth, who shared their well wishes in the comments.

Snoop has a close relationship with his mother and even dedicated a song to her, “Thank You For Having Me,” in honor of Mother’s Day in 2018. “My game and all my slick talk come from my mama,” Snoop once said.

Last month, Snoop released his album From Tha Streets 2 Tha Suites featuring the single “Gang Signs” featuring Mozzy. The video features a cameo from Madonna, who appears to smoke a joint.
