Nicki Minaj, J. Cole Congratulate Drake on Artist of the Decade Award

It’s a celebration.

Fresh off receiving the Artist of the Decade Award at the Billboard Music Awards, Drake’s peers took to social media to honor the Canadian rapper for 10 years of greatness.

In an Instagram Stories post, Nicki Minaj proclaimed Drake’s indelible contributions to the game. “Single handedly changed music & the music business forever,” she wrote. “Congratulations @champagnepapi.”

Nicki, who collaborated with Drake on “Seeing Green,” previously revealed that her Young Money brother helped her when she had writer’s block. “He single handedly got me out of my writer’s block, and I’m never gonna forget it and I’m gonna shout it to the fu**ing world from the mountain tops,” she said. “He’s a fu**in’ genius as a musical artist but also as a human.”

LeBron James, who helped narrate Drake’s Billboard Artist of the Decade video montage, said Drake’s success is not by chance. “ARE WE SURE IT’S LUCK??? CONGRATS to my brother for BILLBOARD Artist of the Decade! And guess what!?!?! He’s not done!” wrote the Lakers champ.

Drake’s son Adonis joined him onstage to accept the prestigious award at Sunday’s ceremony at L.A.’s Microsoft Theater. “I know that I’ve spent an incalculable amount of hours trying to calculate all the things I did wrong, but tonight I’m sure as hell we did something right,” said Drake, who dedicated the award to his 3-year-old son.

The 6 God celebrated the achievement with friends and family at an intimate dinner and after-party on the field at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, which ended with fireworks.
