J. Cole & Bas Make A Dreamville Connection In-Studio Following 'The Off-Season' Success
The relationship between J. Cole and Bas is one of the strongest within the Dreamville camp. Bas was the second artist signed to Dreamville back in 2014 and the two friends have collaborated several times over the years.
Cole recently had Bas featured on “1 0 0 . m i l’,” “l e t . g o . m y . h a n d” and “h u n g e r . o n . h i l l s i d e” all off the Dreamville captain’s sixth studio album, The Off-Season. Now it seems the duo is back in the studio weeks after the success of Cole’s album.

Footage of the Dreamville meet-up made its rounds on social media, and fans were excited to see Cole and Bas getting right back to work. In the short clip, J. Cole and Bas are nodding their heads to a song playing off a computer. Unfortunately, fans can’t tell what’s playing, as there was no audio coming from the video.
Even though fans can’t hear the new music J. Cole and Bas could be working on, they can still get hype over another possible collaboration. Anytime Cole and Bas join forces on a track, the Dreamville duo produces results and this will be no different.
It was actually Bas who sounded the alarms for Dreamville fans when he tweeted and deleted a photo of J. Cole locked in the studio. He even teased The Off-Season for a May arrival.
“[Mind blown emojis] The Off-Season. pack your bags. [rocket emoji] in two weeks,” Bas wrote.
