Trick Daddy Snubs The Beyhive Following Beyoncé & JAY-Z Clubhouse Controversy

Trick Daddy found himself on the wrong side of Beyoncé’s insanely loyal fanbase earlier this week after he dissed both the anointed Queen and her husband JAY-Z during a Clubhouse conversation.

Not only did The Beyhive flood his mentions until he was trending on Twitter, they also viciously left hundreds of bad reviews about his restaurant on Google until his rating dropped to 2.6. They attacked his Instagram account, too, leaving hundreds of bee emojis in his comments.

But on Tuesday (June 22), Trick Daddy reminded his fans just how little he cares with a since-deleted Instagram post that read simply, “BARBZ >,” meaning he thinks Nicki Minaj’s fierce fanbase is superior to The Beyhive. According to a plethora of remarks in The Shade Room‘s comment section, “the joke’s on him.” They say The Beyhive and Barbz are basically one in the same.

Trick Daddy became a trending Twitter topic on Tuesday (June 22) after leaked audio of a Clubhouse conversation hit the internet. In the clip, he offered his “unpopular opinion,” saying, “Beyoncé ain’t trying to give back to music and Beyoncé don’t write music. Beyoncé can’t sing. Beyoncé is to R&B what JAY-Z is to New York.

“New York lost Biggie and they needed a hero,” suggesting the March 1997 death of The Notorious B.I.G. left such a void, JAY-Z was able to easily slide in and become a success. He then added “[JAY-Z] never won the greatest rapper alive” title.

Trina, whose collaborative relationship with Trick Daddy stretches back to the 1990s, didn’t want anything to do with the drama and quickly distanced herself from the controversy.

“ALL day, Everyday,” Trina wrote alongside video footage of JAY-Z and Beyoncé performing together. “The Queen.”
