Chris Brown Weighs In On DaBaby Controversy
More celebrities are weighing in on DaBaby’s controversial comments.
Following T.I., Dua Lipa, and Elton John, Chris Brown is the latest artist to speak out in the wake of DaBaby’s homophobic rant at Rolling Loud.
In an Instagram Story post, which has since been deleted, Breezy appeared to condemn DaBaby’s onstage antics, saying he should have just performed and left the stage without the extra commentary.
“Shut the f**k up…Do yo shows thank everybody. Then get the f**k off stage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” wrote Chris.

Dua Lipa also called out her “Levitating” collaborator for his hateful diatribe while sharing her support for the LGBTQ+ community. “I’m surprised and horrified at DaBaby’s comments,” said the pop star. “I really don’t recognize this as the person I worked with. I know my fans know where my heart lies and that I stand 100% with the LGTBQ community. We need to come together to fight the stigma and ignorance around HIV/AIDS.”
T.I., however, sided with DaBaby, saying he should be allowed to speak his mind without fear of being canceled. “If Lil Nas X can kick his shit in peace… so should dababy,” he wrote.
Despite the backlash, DaBaby doesn’t seem fazed. On Wednesday, he released a video for his new song “Giving What It’s Supposed to Give.” “It never seizes to amaze me the way God put me in situations I’m already equipped to handle,” he wrote.
