6ix9ine Flexes Over $1.3M In Cash For The 'Gram After Claiming He Was 'Struggling To Make Ends Meet'
6ix9ine is preparing drop his comeback video on Friday (April 15) at 3 p.m. EST, which will bring his hiatus to an end. Prior to its release, the controversial rapper posted an Instagram video bragging about how rich he is — despite telling a judge otherwise. In court documents obtained by Complex last month, 6ix9ine informed a judge his career has stalled since his time in jail and admitted his well had run dry.
“Right now, I am struggling to make ends meet,” 6ix9ine claimed in the court docs. “I do not know if I will ever command the kind of advances I was paid before my arrest, and my career stalled. I did receive large advances under the recording artist and merchandising agreements prior to my arrest. However, I do not receive any royalties under those agreements either since my royalty accounts remain un-recouped.”
Wack 100 further propelled the narrative online by claiming 6ix9ine once asked to borrow $20 for gas. Speaking on the Clubhouse app, Wack said, “Yeah, he broke as a muthafucka. That n-gga 6ix9ine ain’t got nothing! Man, that n-gga over there doing bad. Bro, I had to send that n-gga $20 for some gas. That’s why we was telling the people, ‘Ain’t really nothing we can do for you right now cause n-gga broke-broke.’ It’s fucking terrible, man. Sad thing to see such a talented young man [like this].”
But according to 6ix9ine’s post, he has millions of dollars in cash. Surrounded by multiple luxury cars and wearing numerous high-end watches, 6ix9ine counted $1.3 million in cash as he bragged about taking “two years off from rap” and still having an indulgent lifestyle.
He added in the caption, “THE REAL KING OF NEW YORK!! IM BACK!! ASK THEM POST THERE HOUSE THEY CARS THEY BANK ACCOUNT.YOU DONT LIVE LIKE THIS I OWN EVERYTHING YOU GUYS LEASE!! I TOOK OFF RAP 2 YEARS!! I COULD DO THAT YALL CANT!! THE REAL KING OF NEW YORK!! Tomorrow GINÈ MUSIC VIDEO 3PM EASTERN!!”
