Styles P Enlists The LOX, Havoc + More For 'Good Times' 20th Anniversary NYC Concert
Styles P solidified himself a solo star in 2002 when he dropped “Good Times,” the lead single from his debut album A Gangster and a Gentleman. The cannabis-centric song peaked at No. 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 while enjoying massive radio airplay across the nation.
Fast forward two decades, and the Ghost is commemorating a huge milestone for his smash hit single. On Friday (July 8), Styles P took to his Instagram to announce a concert celebrating the 20th anniversary of “Good Times.” The Yonkers native will be joined by his LOX brethren Jadakiss and Sheek Louch, as well as Havoc, Smoke DZA, Nems, Statik Selektah and others.
“When you see [smoke] there is [fire]!!!!!! Come celebrate history with me Aug 18th. Need all my stoners in the building for this one,” Styles P wrote. “You see the lineup @jadakiss @sheeklouch @smokedza @mobbdeephavoc @nems_fyl @statikselekt @prettylou11 and more to be announced. I’m dropping the Good Times 2.0 strain @realstraingang @__theoriginalz__ and I have a surprise for the Web 3 community. Ticket link in my bio.”

The show will take place on August 18 at Irving Plaza in New York City. Tickets are currently on sale for $42 (general admission) and $84 (preferred balcony) via Ticketmaster.
Speaking of weed songs, Styles P recently addressed the discrepancies between white and Black marijuana smokers. The 47-year-old argued there needs to be a change regarding weed policy and who shapes the weed market.
“I’m just going to be honest: [White] guys grow the pot, you never go to jail for it, make tons of fucking money for it,” he said during an appearance on Jacobi Holland’s On The Revel. “We buy the pot that you grow, it fucks up our future, we get arrested for it, now you got a felony and a bunch of misdemeanors, now you can’t get a job. How the fuck do we fix the problem? By addressing the problem. Let’s figure out how to get some of these black kids some money over this fucking pot.”
