Pusha T & Malice Speak On Travis Scott ‘Cheating’ By Clashing Jackboys 2 Release With Clipse’s Album
Things between Travis Scott and Clipse haven’t gone back to being okay, clearly. In the recent past, Clipse have called Travis out over messing with Pharrell, dissed him on a record, and called him a w**re. But Travis, too, had plans and quips of his own in his album.
Now, in a recent interview with GQ, the duo have revealed their thoughts on Travis Scott releasing Jackboys 2 the same week as Clipse’s Let God Sort Em Out. Here’s an excerpt from the interview—
Pusha T: “You cheat. We cheat. Everybody cheats. F*ck it.”
Malice: “Listen, everybody has a right to do what they do. Whatever you have the power to do, whatever tools you have to utilize. That goes for everybody, even us. Let’s just play and see what it is. We embrace it all and love it all. Ain’t no sitting around moping and wishing—nah, let’s rock.”
Albeit a little ambiguous, the reaction seems to suggest that they’re indifferent to Travis’ antics. At the same time, there is a sense of distastefulness. What do you think?
