21 Savage Claims Drake Apologised To Metro Boomin ‘Multiple Times’: Watch

21 Savage is out with a new album (What Happened To The Streets), and that means he’s out talking and being present in the media landscape again. For fans, this is good news because you finally get to hear from one of the most elusive of current rappers.

Interestingly, 21 Savage had insights to give on the Drake-Metro-Kendrick dynamic, which he discussed in the Perspektives With Bank’s new episode. At one point, 21 Savage spoke about how he’d asked Drake to stay away from engaging with Kendrick in a battle — but that Drake engaged anyway because he thought he was “being challenged lyrically.”

What’s more is that he also spoke on the relationship Metro Boomin shares with Drake and where the two may stand now in their personal and professional lives. He revealed how Drake has, in the past, apologised to Metro “multiple times” over something that didn’t sit right with Metro — that Metro wasn’t in the space to receive his apology.

That said, he also spoke on how Metro is more open minded now, and that he may even work with Drake again “in the near future.” Empathetically, the rapper also spoke on how Metro Boomin has had a tough life and that he understands where it came from.
