Floyd Mayweather Ordered to Pay Major Child Support in Case Involving Former Dancer

A Nevada court has officially ordered Floyd Mayweather to pay nearly $1 million in back child support, alongside ongoing monthly payments exceeding $32,000. This legal development follows the formal establishment of the boxing icon as the father of a four-year-old girl, identified in court documents as Price Moorehead.

The ruling, which surfaced in records obtained by TMZ, concludes a multi-year legal battle in Las Vegas. The child is now recognized as Mayweather’s fifth. According to the court’s decision finalized in March 2026, the monthly financial obligation is set at $32,850, with total arrears calculated at $933,050.

The case was initiated by Paige Moorehead, a former employee at Mayweather’s Girl Collection strip club. Moorehead sought to establish paternity in 2023, several years after the child’s birth in December 2021. In her filings, she alleged that she maintained a long-term personal relationship with the athlete that abruptly ended once she disclosed her pregnancy. Furthermore, she claimed that Mayweather pressured her regarding the pregnancy and subsequently terminated her employment, though these specific allegations were not resolved through trial testimony.

The court ultimately issued a default judgment after Mayweather failed to participate in the legal proceedings, despite being served with notices and directed to undergo a DNA test.

Securing Financial Obligations

The presiding judge noted that while partial payments totaling approximately $151,000 had been made, they represented only a fraction of the total debt. To ensure the remaining balance is satisfied, the court has authorized a lien of up to $2 million on a California property linked to Mayweather’s assets. This legal mechanism provides a safeguard for the child’s support, allowing for enforcement against the property should the financial obligations remain unfulfilled.

This ruling comes at a time when Mayweather’s professional schedule remains packed with high-profile exhibition bouts. He is slated to face Mike Zambidis in Greece on June 27, followed by a highly anticipated rematch with Manny Pacquiao on September 26. Additionally, an exhibition match involving Mike Tyson is reportedly in the works for later this year. These ongoing commitments have drawn renewed public scrutiny toward the boxing legend’s legal and financial responsibilities.
