The Game Says He’s the Best Rapper From Compton
The Game is crowning himself the king of Compton.
While on a Clubhouse chat with Crooked I and Glasses Malone on Saturday night (Jan. 30), the West Coast rappers engaged in a discussion about the greatest rapper from Compton, and Game didn’t hesitate to lay claim to the throne.
“Can’t nobody in Compton outrap Game, ni**a. Can’t nobody in Compton outrap me,” he declared.
However, his fellow Clubhouse members argued that the title belongs to another one of Compton’s own, Kendrick Lamar. But Game was quick to defend his name.
“Kendrick my ni**a,” he said. “Kendrick do his shit. I love that ni**a to death. Ni**a, I flew past Kendrick when that ni**a was on foot, ni**a, in a Range Rover and showed him how to do this shit. Don’t play. Don’t play with Game name. Compton, ni**a. Hardest ni**a in Compton, rapping, lyricist, me. Any ni**a that say any different, I’ll body him and any ni**a he f**k with.”
He later admitted that he was under the influence, but still stood by his claim. “I’m off a few shots of tequila and I’m feeling real Rosecrans and Wilmington, tonight,” he said before adding, “Them ni**as can’t f**k with Chuck.”
When asked to list his top 3 Compton MCs outside of himself, Game named Kendrick, MC Ren, and DJ Quik.
Game, who announced his retirement in 2019, is now back in the studio working on a new project called 30 for 30. In November, he dropped his Lil Wayne-assisted single “A.I. with the Braids.”
