Quando Rondo Targeted In Georgia Convenience Store Shooting
Atlanta, GA – Quando Rondo was reportedly involved in another Georgia shooting — this time at a local convenience store. According to TMZ, the Atlanta rapper was caught in a “hail of gunfire” in the wee hours of Sunday morning (May 2). One member of Quando Rando’s entourage was injured and treated at nearby hospital, but Quando Rando walked away unscathed.
Law enforcement officials believe someone started firing from across the street as Quando Rondo and his crew made a quick stop at the store.
This isn’t the first time Quando Rondo has been involved in a shooting and likely won’t be the last. In November 2020, he and his crew got into an altercation with King Von outside of an Atlanta hookah bar, resulting in King Von’s death. Timothy “Lul Tim” Leeks was arrested and charged with the murder a few days later.
Then, after Quando Rondo gave an interview about King Von’s killing to The Breakfast Club co-shot Angela Yee, rumors he was targeted in another shooting started going viral. But he insisted the rumors were false and claimed he was riding around in a bulletproof vehicle.
“Don’t believe everything you hear on the internet,” he wrote on social media last month. “Nobody shot at me, bullets can’t even go threw my whips.”
Gun violence has plagued the rap community for eons but seems to have ramped up in recent months with the shooting deaths of King Von, Mo3 and San Diego rapper OG YD and Sacramento rapper Hot Boy Ju.
