50 Cent & Mo'Nique Celebrate Their New Working Relationship: ‘We Gotta Make Up For Lost Time’
50 Cent kept his promise and got Mo’Nique back on television after casting her in the upcoming season of BMF. Fans were happy to see it happen, but others had something to say when the comedian and actress barely spoke about the role or her return to the industry.
On Friday (June 3), 50 Cent took to his Twitter with a video showing Mo’Nique addressing the people who weren’t happy with her not thanking the rapper. According to Mo, there’s no need to publicize their working relationship.
“I want to talk right to our baby, from one black woman to that beautiful, pure-hearted black man, and let me be clear, I’m saying Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson is a pure-heart,” Mo’Nique said. “So when y’all get to talking about ‘Oh 50, you next,’ that’s a man, that’s a king. He’s of pure heart, and he’s principled. See we have conversations offline, and people got to saying, ‘She ain’t thank 50, she ain’t say nothing to 50.’ We don’t have to have our relationship online.”
50 reiterated the love he was receiving from Mo in his caption saying, “@moworldwide I love you guys to. let’s progress at a pace they haven’t seen before, work like we gotta make up for lost time. The best way to get back at anyone you feel did you wrong is to do good gunitbrands.com.”

Mo’Nique earned a small role as a character named Goldie in the upcoming second season of BMF. The announcement drew loads of praise from castmates and other celebrities, including LaLa Anthony, Joseph Sikora, Donnell Rawlings, Omar Epps, and more.
50 Cent has been vocal about getting Mo’Nique in his STARZ universe since he believed the entertainment industry was blackballing her. He knew he had to do something after attending one of her comedy shows during Super Bowl LVI weekend earlier this year.
