50 Cent chimes in on the First Lady Of BMF: The Tonesa Welch Story.
Vivica A. Fox, is directing the film, and her ex, Fif, had a few things to say about it. Via social media, 50 Cent said, “This should say 263 not BMF.” In another IG Story post, the Queens rapper wrote, “What the fvck is this man !” He continued,
“Vivica ugh, So your not gonna ever leave me alone hun?…and what the fvck is judge Mathis doing in this mix,” adding the shocked emoji. “I’m done, Im done with all of you ni66as. LOL.” Take a look:
50 Cent launched his Black Mafia Family series on Starz in September of 2021. BMF is based on the life and actual events of two brothers, Big Meech and Southwest T. They came from the troubling streets of southwest Detroit in the late 1980s.
The Black Mafia Family is considered to be one of the most influential crime families who chased the American Dream; however, things happened along the way that disrupted their brotherhood. “Lil Meech,” made his acting debut playing the role of his father. Grown-ish actor Da’Vinchi plays the role of BMF’s co-founder/Big Meech’s brother, Terry “Southwest T.” The show is currently airing season 2.
As reported on Deadline, First Lady Of BMF: The Tonesa Welch Story is set to air on BET+. The biopic is inspired by the true life of the Detroit native. Welch’s story was previously shared in documentary form as part of the series American Gangster: Trap Queens. With production scheduled to begin this April, the film is likely to debut later this year.
Vivica and Fif began dating in 2002 while 50 Cent was recording debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin. Around 2004, Fif made public comments about Viv, saying she was “crazy,” and used him as a pawn for the spotlight, according to a news article. However, Vivica believes the fall of their relationship was that they went public too fast.
The two were able to be cordial in 2010 when the Queens rapper had Viv appear in his classic, “Do You Think About Me,” record. But, over the years they would randomly slander each other. Last year, Viv came to 50’s defense in his penis enhancement lawsuit against a Miami Spa doctor. Viv “vouched” for the rapper and says he doesn’t need any enhancements.
