Legendary sneaker brand, AND1 is celebrating 30 years
Earlier this month, AND1 hosted its 30th anniversary party featuring a 90’s themed streetball aesthetic, signature memorabilia and conversations with AND1 legends. They announced AND1’s upcoming merch drops, community initiatives, and open runs with the brand.
The party was held at LUME Studios – a space that allowed the partygoers to experience the legacy of the brand in an immersive setting. To kick off the festivities, MTV’s Dometi Pongo led a conversation around the culture, legacy, and future of the brand with Dexter Gordon and Lars Astrom, Brand Director and Design Director, respectively along with AND1 legend and street baller, Shane “The Dribble Machine.”
This party acted as a kickoff to a ‘Summer of AND1’ and a commemorative milestone year. The brand will be dropping new sneakers, renewing their Paint the Park initiative across the country, and the return of the Open Run Tour.
