Coi Leray Announces 'Blick Blick' Single With Nicki Minaj
After teasing a new track on TikTok last week, Coi Leray announced on Monday (March 14) she’s finally set to return with a new single on Friday (March 18), and it features none other than The Queen herself.
“TRENDSETTERS LOADING…..My new single ‘Blick Blick’ w The Queen @Nickiminaj drops this FRIDAY 3/18,” Leray announced on Instagram. Alongside the caption, Leray posted a photo of her and Nicki Minaj holding candy-colored rifles against a pink and blue backdrop.

It’s unclear whether the new track is the same one Coi Leray teased on Tik Tok earlier in March. In the TikTok, Coi and a few acquaintances are dancing along to the unreleased track in a sprawling mansion in color-coordinated hoodies and sweats. Once Coi reshared the post to Instagram, Nicki Minaj did take to the comment section to offer her support by dropping a few fire emojis.
The track will be Leray’s first new tune since she dropped off two singles titled “Medicine” and “Anxiety” a few months back. After months of steady promotion, the 2022 HipHopDX Rising Star took a break from social media in February. The New Jersey rapper took to Twitter to share a semi-alarming departure message for her “trendsetters,” and ultimately announced she was putting her career on ice for a bit.
“To all my trendsetters, I’m sorry I let you down,” she wrote. “I don’t have it in me to keep pushing. I feel like I’m brain dead. I pray that everyone continues to keep setting trends and striving. Don’t know when I’ll be back but I don’t even want to think about it. I love you for life.”
