Fans React To Wizkid Postponing His ‘More Love, Less Ego Tour’

On Wednesday (March 1), Wizkid took to social media on to announce that his “More Love, Less Ego Tour” will be postponed to Fall 2023 due to what he describes as “unforeseen circumstances.”
“Due to unforeseen circumstances the Wizkid – More Love, Less Ego Tour has been postponed to Fall 2023,” the statement read. “All tickets purchased for the originally scheduled shows will be honored on the new dates at the respective venues. Stay tuned for more information.”
The tour, which included Ruger and Skillibeng as special guests, was originally set to kick off on Friday, March 3 at Houston’s Toyota Center. The Afrobeats superstar was expected to perform in cities like Dallas, Orlando, Miami, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York, Montreal, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, Phoenix and more.
Fans of the “Essence” hitmaker are not happy about this news. “Wizkid really cancelled his tour like my flight ticket is refundable. Roc Nation will pay for this,” Saraabena tweeted.
Kanmisolaa added, “Wizkid why would you do this to me.”
“I think I need to go to Nigeria and put slap in Wizkid ear,” another Twitter user wrote.
“Mhmm, I’m so happy I declared to never go to another Wizkid concert again,” Sincerelyaddy said. “I’m still a fan… I just can’t be played for the [third] time.”
