Fetty Wap Isn't Letting Multi-Million Dollar Drug Bust Stop Him From Getting To The Bag

Palm Springs, CA – If there’s one thing Fetty Wap will do, it’s continue working until he can’t anymore. On Thursday (April 14), the New Jersey native made an appearance at a special StockX event ahead of Coachella 2022, and fans couldn’t stop talking about seeing him in good spirits.

In a video shared on social media, Fetty performed his hit single “679” with a big smile stamped across his face as he danced around while singing the lyrics. However, fans couldn’t help but notice the ankle monitor on his left leg. The 30-year-old rapper is currently out on bail after being arrested as part of a multi-million dollar drug bust in October.

“Idky but the ankle monitor is sexy,” one fan commented on Instagram, while another wrote, “Ankle monitor looks fire with the fit.” Others poked fun at the one-eyed rapper having to abide by a curfew, joking, “That Boy has to be in by 9pm.”

Fetty Wap is currently awaiting a trial date in his federal drug case. The “Trap Queen” rapper posted a $500,000 bond in November and is under GPS monitoring at all times, as well as being subject to random drug testing.

The RGF representative was arrested right before he was to hit the stage at Rolling Loud New York in October. Prior to his release, the FBI released multiple photos showing $1.5 million in cash, 16 kilograms of cocaine, two kilograms heroin and fentanyl pills seized from the drug bust.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office put out a press release saying Fetty was charged with “conspiring to distribute and possess controlled substances” and was described as “a kilogram-level re-distributor for the trafficking organization.”
