Gunna Flexes Xmas Gift From Louis Vuitton – But Fans Think He Was 'Finessed'
The Christmas season is in full effect, and people are out getting their gifts prepared for the big day. Rappers are expected to flood social media with the gifts they’ve given and received this year, and Gunna is getting a head start.
On Wednesday (December 23), Akademiks shared a post on his Instagram of Gunna shopping in the Louis Vuitton store. The clerks inside the store had a special gift for Gunna, who was happy as he could be to see the present.
“They don’t give gifts here to everybody,” Gunna said. “You got to be precise when you open these types of gifts. This a Louis Vuitton gift you crazy. Christmas came early.”

Inside the bag was an orange Louis Vuitton wallet with Gunna’s “Wunna” nickname etched on the inside. It was a kind gesture by the store but fans felt the gift was in bad taste given how much rappers promote luxury brands like Louis.
“All the money you dropped and they give you a wallet damn lol damn,” one person wrote in Akademiks comment section while another said, “Gave that N-gga a handy dandy notebook.”
Another said, “This man done spent thousands of dollars it the thought that count???”
Gunna is used to giving out gifts himself as he gave Lil Baby an iced-out necklace with the names of his children — Jason and Loyal —incorporated into the links. The chain looks similar to the one Kanye West wore during his return to Instagram in July prior to the release of Donda.
