Ice Cube To Speak On Zionist Organization Of America’s Virtual Panel

With the microscope still on Ice Cube for his political decisions, the West Coast legend is slated to speak on a virtual panel at the annual Zionist Organization of America’s gala on December 27. For those unfamiliar, the ZOA is a right-wing, nonprofit pro-Israel organization, which was founded back in 1897.

Over the summer, Cube spoke with ZOA president and Jewish leader Morton Klein for two hours after the former N.W.A member cosigned the nation of Islam’s Louis Farrakhan, who has repeatedly been accused of spewing anti-Semitic rhetoric in the past.

Cube later acknowledged the July conversation on Twitter, saying he’d be looking forward to the Black and Jewish communities working together more in the future.

“Shout out to Mort Klein who had the courage to seek the truth and speak with me and see for himself I am obviously NOT an anti-Semite or racist,” Cube wrote. “I admire him for the advocacy of his people and look forward to talking more on how Black and Jewish communities can work together.”

Klein has been vehemently opposed to the Black Lives Matter movement, labeling the organization in June as a “Jew hating, White hating, Israel hating, conservative Black hating, violence promoting, dangerous Soros funded extremist group of haters.”

Cube has also been under fire since it was revealed he worked with the Trump campaign on their Platinum Plan to invest $500 trillion into the Black community, as many believe the promise is a farce. The Friday star had been looking to work with any political figure who could advance his Contract With Black America (CWBA) initiative. He responded to the social media hate last week.

“Let me get this straight, I get the president of the United States to agree to put over half a trillion dollars of capital in the Black Community (without an endorsement) and N-ggas are mad at me,” he wrote accompanied by laughing emojis. “Have a nice life.”
