Jay-Z’s Mom Celebrates Her Wedding Day With Kelly Rowland, Tyler Perry, And Other Celebrities

Jay-Z’s mother has officially been married, and the family apparently celebrated with numerous celebrities. Some of the famous individuals that attended the large event in New York included Tyler Perry, Kelly Rowland, Robin Roberts, Corey Gamble, Tina Knowles. Beyoncé and Jay-Z were seated and had the best view of Gloria Carter when she said “I do” to marry her now-wife, Roxanne Wilshire.
Reportedly, the event finished around 1 a.m., so there was definitely plenty of excitement shared amongst everyone who attended. Gloria came out as a lesbian in Jay-Z’s 2017 tune, “Smile,” where she joined the song to discuss “living in the shadows” as a gay woman. Jay-Z has been a huge supporter of Gloria. At the 2019 GLAAD Media Awards, he ended up praising and thanking her for allowing him to tell her story.
