Juice WRLD's 'Lucid Dreams' Gets New Remix With Lil Uzi Vert
Juice WRLD’s estate is celebrating the re-issue of his 2018 Goodbye & Good Riddance debut album with an all-new version of the hit single “Lucid Dreams” featuring Lil Uzi Vert and an accompanying animated video.
Directed by Mooch, the visual finds Juice trapped by a female demon before breaking free. As he stands in the middle of a city overrun by similar demons, he’s rescued by Uzi, who happens to use his beloved diamond to help end all the demons and protect the two as they travel through the city.
The original Goodbye & Good Riddance was released on May 23, 2018 and eventually rose to platinum status built off the success of the original “Lucid Dreams.” To celebrate, Interscope re-released the album with two new tracks, “734” and Uzi’s “Lucid Dreams” remix.
Lil Uzi Vert’s appearance is appropriate as he was the lone feature on the original Goodbye & Good Riddance.
As Juice WRLD fans celebrate the re-issue of Goodbye & Good Riddance, his estate is being sued over the single “Scared Of Love.”
According to court documents, rapper Ghost Loft claims producer Mitch Mula sampled the song but didn’t properly credit Ghost on the album. He’s suing the estate and Mula, Universal Music Group and Interscope seeking damages, a writing credit and an injunction prohibiting Juice WRLD’s estate from making money off of the song.
