Juicy J & Wiz Khalifa Capitalize On Verzuz Look With 'Pop That Trunk' Single

After a tumultuous Verzuz battle between Three 6 Mafia and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Juicy J capitalized on the momentum on Friday (December 3) and dropped a collaborative track with Wiz Khalifa titled “Pop That Trunk.”

The single is part of a larger joint collaborative effort between the two rappers that is set for release sometime in 2022. The “Pop That Trunk” music video, which was directed by Gabriel Hart, follows Juicy and Wiz as they convince a group of strangers to give them their souls.

“Pop That Trunk” comes on the heels of a contentious Verzuz battle between Three 6 Mafia and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony in Los Angeles that happened on Thursday (December 2) night. An intense fight broke out between the two groups not even an hour into the competition, kickstarted by Bizzy Bone accusing Three 6 affiliate Crunch Black of mocking him.

“Hey yo hey to before we even get started you ugly muthafuckas ain’t finna to be mocking me while I’m on muthafuckin’ stage,” Bizzy said. “OK straight the fuck up, and Gangsta Boo …”

Bizzy then chucked a bottle at Crunchy Black, and Juicy ran up on him as a result. “Suck my dick!” Juicy J called out.

“Bizzy Bone, you a hater!” Gangsta Boo called out as tensions heated up. “You must not have taken your pills! What the fuck wrong with you bitch ass n-gga!?” Both groups then swarmed each other, with security Bone Thugs’ longtime manager Steve Lobel hopping in the middle to break them up.

“Bizzy Bone needs to take his medicine!” Boo is heard calling out.

As the night went on, Bizzy eventually came around and ended up apologizing for his antics. A clip shows Bizzy hugging Juicy J and dipping him up. “I wanna apologize to everybody the fuck out there – on both sides,” Bizzy said. “I’m not trying to fuck this shit up. Pardon me. Let’s keep the muthafuckin’ party going.”
