The 28-year-old previously made headlines after he was one of three people injured in a drive-by shooting in April. As reported by the Sun Sentinel, police said that Syko and two other men were driving around the Lauderhill, Florida neighborhood when a black BMW pulled up and opened fire on them. The rapper tried to drive off but slammed into two other cars in traffic as the BMW continued to fire more shots. It was reported that someone in Syko’s car fired back before the BMW drove off and crashed into a van.
By the time police were on the scene, both vehicles had been ditched and bullet casings littered the road. According to Lt. Michael Santiago, “All three victims” who had been brought to the hospital by bystanders following the shooting “refused to cooperate with the investigation and provided no details on the events.”
Syko Bob took to Instagram Live after the incident to tell his 116,000 followers he was well and nothing had happened to him.
“Please stop talking about ‘get well’ when shit ain’t wrong,” he said. “Don’t send me shit about no ‘get well’ no more when shit ain’t happen to me.”
