Lil Baby Confirms Lil Durk Joint Album After His Mentions Crumble With Basketball Slander

Lil Baby took his first L of 2021 with his dreadful performance on the basketball court over the weekend, but he’s ready to bounce back and make the fans forget about his series of bricks. Baby essentially confirmed rumors of a joint album on the way with Lil Durk on Monday (March 8).

“Aye, y’all tell @LilDurk Let’s drop the tape fucc,” he wrote with a call-to-action in a post to his Instagram Story.

Baby and Durk have collaborated on a number of occasions with the most recent coming in December 2020 with “Finesse Out the Gang Way,” which landed on the Chicago native’s The Voice album. Other collabs include “How I Know,” “3 Headed Goat,” “Downfall” and Drip Harder‘s “Off White VLONE.”

Lil Durk added to the raging hype with a tweet of his own reciprocating Baby’s feelings to unleash their joint tape as soon as possible.

“Aye y’all tell @lilbaby4PF let’s drop that tape streets need this OTF x 4PF,” Durk wrote.

Durk’s kept his winning ways going in 2021 with the release of his Only The Family Loyal Bros Compilation album last week and an appearance on Fallon, while Lil Baby also got back to the music on the solo front with the arrival of his first single of the year “Real as it Gets” featuring Louisville rapper EST Gee. He’ll also be performing at the Grammy Awards on Sunday (March 14) where he and Durk are both nominated.
