Lil Durk & Mariah Carey Spark Collaboration Rumors After Being Spotted Having Dinner
Lil Durk has been spotted having dinner with Mariah Carey, and fans think a new collaboration between the two may be in the works.
A video surfaced online on Thursday (November 10) that showed Durkio snapping a few pics with Mariah Carey and Shirin Amiri, wife of fashion designer Mike Amiri.
“Lil Durk And Mariah Seen Together…It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas,” wrote one fan, while another added, “Lil Durk pulled Mariah Carey right before the holidays, very smart move.”
Other fans were thrown off by the link-up. “Lil Durk making a Christmas song with Mariah Carey was definitely not on the 2022 bingo card,” wrote another fan.

Lil Durk and Mariah Carey’s dinner is the latest unexpected meet-up to come out of rap in recent weeks, after Kodak Black was recently spotted hanging with R&B singer Monica, and the latter was ultimately forced to squash any dating rumors.
“Bill & Shimmy My Heart … They know they can trust me with whatever & never have to doubt me,” she wrote.
“Not every relationship is about messing or dating,” she added. “I hang with their moms because I’m their age! LOL.. I’m gonna FOREVER love support & encourage them! They don’t play about me.”
A few fans drew similar conclusions about Mariah and Durkio, and theorized the photographs were taken while the pair were on a date. Lil Durk may very well be single after all, as breakup rumors between the 7220 rapper and his fiancé India Royale began to swirl in September when Royale tweeted out that she was a “free agent.”
Fans noticed she had also unfollowed Durk on social media, and the OTF head deleted his Instagram shortly after.
These rumors came after Durk made quite a public proposal last December when he got down on one knee mid-performance during a show in his hometown of Chicago.
“You know I love you to death and you’ve been holding me down when I was going through a lot,” Durkio said at the time. “You’ve been the realest to me and I love you to death. I’d smoke a muthafucka for you. So, do you want to be my wife?”
Royale replied with a confident “yes,” which caused an eruption of cheers and applause from the crowd.
On the music side, Durk is fresh off the deluxe release of his 7220 project earlier this year, and most recently linked with Ty Dolla $ign for his new song “My Friends.”
