Lil Reese Arrested For Brutal Assault On Girlfriend
Chicago, IL – Lil Reese may have escaped death when he was shot in Chicago roughly two weeks ago, but he didn’t dodge a new domestic violence charge.
According to TMZ, Lil Reese was arrested on Saturday (May 29) around 10:30 p.m. local time after police were called to his home with reports of a fight. Upon arrival, they discovered Reese’s girlfriend with a visible cut on her lip. The woman claims Reese pulled her hair and punched her in the face with a closed fist, causing an abrasion.
Police immediately took him into custody, but he was later released after posting $10,000 bond.
The arrest follows the shooting incident in a Chicago parking lot that left three people injured. On May 15, police responded to a shots fired call around 9:53 a.m. local time and found three victims with gunshot wounds. A police spokesperson citing preliminary information said the incident involved several people who were “all shooting at each other.”
A stolen Dodge Durango sprayed with bullet holes was discovered crashed at the scene.
Gruesome video of the event’s aftermath shows Lil Reese barely conscious with blood all over his face as a Chicago police officer tries to talk to him before calling for an ambulance.

Following the shooting, Reese put an end to the rumor he’d gone blind as a result of the shooting.
“I’m good I’m not blind or shit,” the 28-year-old wrote on Snapchat. “Don’t believe what you seeing on internet I don’t even kno where tf they getting all these fake ass stories from.”
Lil Reese, who survived a near-fatal shooting in November 2019, has been charged with misdemeanor domestic battery.
