Lizzo Teases 'Song Of The Summer' Wearing Bottomless Chaps
Lizzo has no shame when it comes to flaunting her curvaceous body (not that she should). The Grammy Award-winning singer typically takes it up a notch while promoting new music, which was the case on Sunday (April 10) when the 33-year-old shared an Instagram video of herself climbing aboard a private jet wearing bottomless black chaps.
She wrote in the caption, “SONG OF THE SUMMER DROPPING 4/14! ITS ABOUT DAMN TIME- PRE SAVE LINK IN BIO.”

Lizzo was noticeably excited about the upcoming release and accompanying album during an appearance on The Late Show with James Corden in March. Speaking to the host, who seemed as equally giddy about the impending album drop, Lizzo explained she played it for her friends and family to make sure it was “perfect.”
“My mama was the last to hear it because she’s a Virgo and a harsh critic,” Lizzo joked. “She cried. She loved it.”
Corden then pulled out a vinyl that read, “Top Secret Lizzo New Music 2022” to Lizzo’s surprise. With her permission, Corden proceeded to play “About Damn Time” as she got up to dance.
“There’s more where that came from, baby!” she shouted, to which Corden replied, “We love it!”
Amazon Studios premiered Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls series on March 25, which centers on Lizzo’s search for women to join the ranks of her Big Grrrls touring squad.
Ten promising women were moved into the Big Grrrls House, where they must showcase their talents and prove they have what it takes to join Lizzo on her world tour in May.
Speaking to People ahead of its debut, she talked about her body positivity movement and how she hopes to change the world with her unabashed confidence.
“I think I have a really hot body!” she said. “I’m a body icon, and I’m embracing that more and more every day. It may not be one person’s ideal body type just like, say, Kim Kardashian might not be someone’s ideal, but she’s a body icon and has created a modern-day beauty standard.
“And what I’m doing is stepping into my confidence and my power to create my own beauty standard. And one day that will just be the standard.”
