Megan Thee Stallion:
Megan Thee Stallion broke her silence on the Tory Lanez shooting trial. The hot girl graced the cover of Elle Magazine’s May issue. Meanwhile for Tory, his sentencing got pushed back once again, his defense team said they plan to file a supplemental response to the motion, on May 1, which is causing the delay. The judge set a hearing for May 8. Sentencing is expected to happen within 30 days of that hearing if the motion for a new trial is denied.
Yung Miami:
Yung Miami and Diddy were rocking with each other hard last year, but now the city girl is over it. She graced the cover of a special issue of The Cut magazine. Durning the interview, Yung Miami explains why she’s no longer with the Bad Boy CEO. She also says they’re still friends but that’s not her man.
Drake:
An artist from Ghana is suing Drake for copyright infringement on Drizzy’s “Calling My Name” off his project, Honestly, Nevermind. According to the suit, someone from Drake’s camp sent a “clearance email,” but the Ghanaian artist never responded, now he is seeking $10 million.
Meek Mill:
Meek Mill is praising an Artificial Intelligence produced track that used the voice of Drake and The Weeknd. Other AI assisted Drake songs are popping up on streaming services, and unlike Meek Mill, he’s not happy about it. Yung Guru has been vocal about his opposition to the technology as well as Universal Music group. They want to block artificial intelligence from utilizing their catalog.
Trick Daddy:
Trick Daddy ended his gold teeth era. He’s had them in for 30 years but the permanent caps caused decay. Fans can see the whole process on the new season of Love and Hip Hop Miami later this year. Check out the photos.
