Megan Thee Stallion Giving Back To Young Girls And Women With Joy Is Our Journey Tour
Megan Thee Stallion’s Pete and Thomas Foundation has announced it’s joining forces with Southern Black Girls and Women’s Consortium for its inaugural Joy Is Our Journey Dream Bus Tour.
The free festival will start in Atlanta on August 20 and will stop in six other spots before concluding in Birmingham, Alabama on September 16 and 17 at the Black Girls Dream Conference.
Catering to young Black girls and gender-fluid youth from the ages of 12 to 24, each stop on the Joy Is Our Journey Dream Bus Tour will also include interactive workshops and programs focused on mental health, wellness, arts and culture, beauty, S.T.E.M., beauty, entrepreneurship and dream-building.

She continued, “Our partnership with The Pete and Thomas Foundation adds fuel to the mission of the Joy is our Journey tour, which is to connect with Black girls and young women throughout the south and create safe spaces to celebrate unlimited, unabashed Black girl joy,” She continued. “There is so much in store, and we look forward to all the great work we will do together. This is just the beginning.”
The latest link up comes after Megan Thee Stallion rang in her 27th birthday in February by announcing the Pete and Thomas Foundation, which aims to help support low-income families in her hometown of Houston.
“In celebration of my birthday, I’m honored to introduce the Pete and Thomas Foundation,” Meg said of the organization on Instagram. “@PeteThomasFDN is a non-profit organization focused on uplifting and assisting women, children, senior citizens and underserved communities in Houston, Texas and across the world.
“My parents raised me to help others and give back, and I’m incredibly proud to launch this foundation in their memory.”
