Milwaukee Rapper 414 Lil Moe Shot & Killed In Hometown
Milwaukee, WI – The morbid and disgraceful trend of rappers being killed in their hometown continues with the shooting death of up-and-coming artist 414 Lil Moe.
Milwaukee Police said the 26-year-old rapper was killed on Tuesday (February 8) around 9:30 p.m local time but confirmed there’s no suspect in custody — and it’s still unclear what led to the shooting.
In 2021, 414 Lil Moe was just beginning to gain traction following the release of his Breaking Into The Industry EP. which is home to his fan-favorite “Trendsetter” single that has over 100,000 streams on Spotify alone.
The Wisconsin native also managed to work with deceased Quality Control rapper Wavy Navy Pooh, who was also shot and killed in his hometown in Miami last month, on a track his manager and friend Yung Rhodes released last year.
In an Instagram post following the murder of Wavy Navy Pooh, who was with his two children at the time of the shooting, 414 Lil Moe actually remarked about the experience and sent his support to the family of Pooh and his QC label.
“They say it’s always your home town,” 414 Lil Moe wrote in the caption. “Man we was suppose to link in MIA to shoot “Been Told”!!! N-gga we was just talkin a couple weeks ago about another collab!! I’ll never forget that big ass blunt you gave me in at the lab and politicking about our struggle!! Prayers out to your family and Quality Control @qcmceo_p @wavynavypooh Much Love!!”
