Following NLE Choppa’s recent photo shoot recreating original 2Pac looks, he’s tapping into the late legend’s spirit once again with his new video “Picture Me Grapin’.”
Directed by Ben Marc alongside Choppa himself, the visual brings it back to the gangsta parties of 90s L.A. culture and finds the Memphis native cruising the city in a purple old school low-rider. It also features an appearance from Kani himself at the beginning, as Choppa is donning a bald head and bandanna to complete his Pac homage.
Days earlier, his Tupac photoshoot garnered a lot of love on social media thanks to the 1993 vintage edition duds he received from Kani – and one piece was even the original hoodie that Pac himself once wore. And the whole thing came together in less than 24 hours, according to NLE’s stylist Sankara Xasha Turé.

In his caption, NLE added a quote from Pac about keeping the spark inside you alive.
“Death Is Not The Greatest Loss In Life,” it read. “The Greatest Loss Is What Dies Inside While Alive. Never Surrender -Tupac Amaru Shakur. Hoping Love Approaches Now And Not When When The Person Dies -NLE #2pac.”
Shortly before the video’s release, the Memphis-bred rap star suggested the Thug Life euphoria will be short-lived tweeting, “Not dropping anything else after my video tomorrow. Warner records are trying to disable my freedom of speech on the platform I worked best. Until this change this will be the final video I put out on my behalf…. love y’all always” followed with a purple heart emoji.
However, as of Friday, he (or an account handler) was apparently back to tweeting GIFs to support the visual.
