NLE Choppa Drops 'Too Hot' Collaboration With Moneybagg Yo: 'He Killed The Verse'
Exclusive – Memphis rap titans NLE Choppa and Moneybagg Yo are walking in fire ahead of the Top Shotta MC’s upcoming album.
In an Instagram post on Friday (January 14), NLE Choppa shared a clip of his Moneybagg Yo-assisted “Too Hot,” which features the pair of lyricists taking over a warehouse in an undisclosed location and seemingly lighting the entire building on fire due to their explosive bars.

Though NLE Choppa and Moneybagg Yo have been connected for some time, following the “Wockesha” rapper’s appearance on the remix to Choppa’s “Camelot” release with Blocboy JB and Yo Gotti, the release of “Too Hot” marks the first official collaboration between the duo.
Late last year, the From Dark To Light rapper also recruited Moneybagg Yo to be a part of his health and wellness journey by challenging him to kick the cup and quit drinking lean.
During the listening event for his Me vs. Me album, which is set to release on January 21, NLE Choppa told HipHopDX that he was motivated to add Moneybagg Yo to the song because he feels they are destined to make Hip Hop history for the state of Tennessee.
“We both from Memphis and we really ain’t got no real song together,” Choppa said in part. “We really haven’t had our own, and I feel like we are the hottest two artists out of Memphis right now and that’s going to go down in history. I had to send that his way, and he killed the verse and the rest is history.”
