Polo G Vows To 'Fuck The Streets Up' With Upcoming Southside Collab Album

Polo G just dropped the deluxe edition to his No. 1 Billboard 200 album Hall of Fame, and he seems to be dropping even more new music. On Friday (December 10), Polo G announced he’s dropping a new project through a joint collaboration with 808Mafia producer Southside.

The announcement came after Akademiks shared a tweet regarding Polo G’s Hall of Fame 2.0 moving only 79,000 units in its first week. Polo explained the low numbers resulted from a leak that happened a month before the project dropped. But Polo reassured fans there’s no issue since there’s new music on the way.

“& they had leaked my whole shit a month befo it Dropped Which I still can’t seem to figure how that happened….but this light shit doeIm on To Dis Southside Project me & bro @sizzle808MAFIA finna fuck the streets up dats a guarantee,” Polo G tweeted.

Southside added on to the hype with a tweet that read, “This @Polo_Capalot album I got y’all kno if I stamp it it’s a guarantee classic Lil bro legendary I MITE DROP A SNIP IT TOMORROW IF I GET ENOUGH RETWEETS.”

In July, Polo G revealed he was working on an album with Southside but didn’t announce an official release date. Southside shared the interview on his Instagram and said the album will be a treat for fans.

“Fuck it it’s up I swear dis gone be the hardest shit this year I’m wrking wrking @polo.capalot,” Southside wrote.

Despite Hall of Fame getting leaked, Polo G feels music leaks don’t really effect him like other artists. He thinks he’s the best rapper out with music leaks.

“I’m prolly the hottest rapper in the industry wit Leaks Rn lol,” Polo G tweeted. “But fr Tho who behind This Shit.”
