Pop Smoke & Dua Lipa Unite For Royal 'Demeanor' Video After She Denounced DaBaby

After making history with a second posthumous No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, the late Pop Smoke and Dua Lipa’s “Demeanor” collaboration has been brought to life with a royal visual, which arrived on Thursday (July 29).

The Nabil-directed music video finds a royal family gearing up for a party. Pop is seen in a victorian photo alongside doves in the room and then his ghost takes the master seat at the top of the table to kick his rhymes. Lipa enters the fray with a chaotic party taking place, but she straightens everyone out and restores order in the royal castle.

“DEMEANOR VIDEO @POPSMOKE10 IS OUT NOW,” the British-Albanian pop star wrote when promoting the visual. “Thank you to the team and Pop’s family for having me on this song. thank you to my friends for making this video with me  Directed by@nabildo We hope you like it! Much love.”

It’s been a busy week for Dua Lipa in the rap sphere, as she condemned her “Levitating (Remix)” collaborator DaBaby for his homophobic rant over the weekend during his Rolling Loud Miami set.

“I’m surprised and horrified at DaBaby’s comments,” she wrote. “I really don’t recognize this as the person I worked with. I know my fans know where my heart lies and that I stand 100% with the LGBTQ community. We need to come together to fight the stigma and ignorance around HIV/AIDS.”
