Pretty Ricky rapper Baby Blue was reportedly sentenced to 20 months behind bars on December 16 for conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

The Department of Justice says Baby Blue used the money to purchase luxury items such as a Ferrari, which was seized upon his arrest.
He also spent the proceeds at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in South Florida, in addition to paying $250,000 to two men who last week pleaded guilty to orchestrating a nationwide PPP scam.
In a statement following the decision, Baby Blue simply said, “The judge was fair.”
A message was also posted to his Instagram on Wednesday (December 22), in which he talked about learning from his mistakes.
“I can’t go back and change the beginning but I can start where I am and change the ending,” he wrote. “There are things in life we don’t want to happen but have to accept; Lessons in life we don’t want to know but have to learn. We have to remember that life’s greatest lessons are usually learned at the worst times and from the worst mistakes. Sometimes the bad things that happens to us end up putting us on the path to the best things that will ever happen to us.”
He continued, “Life can change in a second, can be taken in a second so live your best life! Do what you can for others. Always be there for the ones you love the most and understand that not everyone you love will stay, not everyone you trust will be loyal. Some people are lessons. Some people exist as an example of what to avoid. Learn from yesterday, live for today, prepare for a better tomorrow.”

In May, Baby Blue admitted he wasn’t concerned about going to prison and that he would use the time to get “ripped up like Gucci Mane” and become “one of the hottest rappers in the world.”
Less than a month before his legal situation came to light, he was reportedly hospitalized and in critical condition after two armed robbers attempted to rob him at a bowling alley in Florida.
