Roddy Ricch Deletes Twitter & Post Cryptic IG Message Amid Song Snippet Backlash
Roddy Ricch isn’t one to let social media dictate his moves. Despite a lukewarm reception to his LIVE LIFE FAST album, the Compton native continued to press forward, even teasing a new collaboration with Mustard he called “crazy” given their track record and massive 2019.
However, after a recent song snippet leaked to Twitter, Roddy quickly deleted his account. Later on Instagram, he posted a peace sign emoji in his Instagram Stories before deactivating his account there, leading fans to speculate he was ditching social media while he continued to work on his Feed Tha Streets 3 mixtape.
“Guess I’m a flop now,” he wrote. “Shit crazy.”

It’s unclear if the rumored song “Out My Mind” was the song Roddy Ricch referred to between him and Mustard. Previously, the two linked for “Ballin” from Mustard’s Perfect Ten and would follow it up with “High Fashion” and “Late At Night.” All three songs charted in the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The returns for LIVE LIFE FAST paled in comparison to his Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial debut, with singles on the album not reaching the massive heights of “The Box” nor his Grammy Award-winning collaboration “Racks In The Middle” with the late Nipsey Hussle. At the same time, fan demand for artists to release material has yielded no middle ground. In their eyes, a song or project can either be good or it can be terrible.
Roddy Ricch himself heaped a high standard for Live Life Fast, proclaiming it had “no skips” when initially previewing it in 2021. The album eventually debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart with roughly 62,000 total album-equivalent units earned. The album featured the likes of Future, Kodak Black, 21 Savage, Takeoff, Jamie Foxx, Ty Dolla $ign, Fivio Foreign, Lil Baby and Gunna.
I honestly don’t blame Roddy Ricch for getting off Twitter and Instagram
He put out a solid project that took years to make and every move he made, people would tell him his project was mid or trash
Stop harassing artists fam, if you don’t like a project, cool, just move on pic.twitter.com/RyBVpHme0M
