Russ Humble-Brags About His Artistry Bag Following Lil Baby ‘Ugly’ Collaboration

Even though Lil Baby declared an end to his feature run well before the end of 2020, Russ has delivered his new track “Ugly” featuring the 4PF rapper within the first days of the New Year. The CHOMP rapper celebrated with his Twitter followers on Friday (January 8), after the strip club themed video for the track featuring the My Turn rapper dropped.

“Tap into that passion and thing you can’t live without doin and just attack it every day,” Russ wrote. “Put in the work and do it for the love and everything will fall in place.”

He also tweeted a lengthy message to all aspiring artists, which somehow ends in a self-appreciative narrative — which has become extremely on-brand for the New Jersey rap star who months ago compared himself to Drake.

“What makes being an artist so liberating is being able to comfortably explore all sides of yourself,” Russ wrote in the text of the screenshot. “That’s why you’ll get songs from me like ‘Losing Control’ but then ‘Do It Myself’ but then ‘Nobody Knows’ while also getting ‘Best On Earth’ and ‘Ugly’ … I’m Everything,” he concluded.

“Ugly,” which enlists producer Boi-1da, adds yet another impressive track to Russ growing list of high-profile collaborations — highlighted by his BIA-assisted hit “Best On Earth, “which cracked the Billboard Hot 100 Chart’s top 50 after appearing at No. 46 at the height of the song’s popularity last year. In fact, his Chomp EP aligns Russ with the stars and includes guest verses from Hip Hop legend Busta Rhymes and also bars from Benny The Butcher, Black Thought, Ab-Soul and KXNG CROOKED.
