Singer Bobby Caldwell Passes Away At 71

According to TMZ, singer Bobby Caldwell has passed away at age 71. Bobby reportedly passed away in his home in New Jersey. The singer was battling an illness, according to his rep he was not able to walk for five years due to a torn tendon in his ankle and painful bouts of neuropathy.
“Bobby passed away here at home. I held him tight in my arms as he left us. I am forever heartbroken” says his wife via Twitter. “Thanks to all of you for your many prayers over the years. He had been “FLOXED,” it took his health over the last 6 years and 2 months. Rest with God, my Love. -Mary Caldwell.”
Caldwell was mostly known for his 1978 chart topping hit, “What You Won’t Do For Love.” It was featured on his self-titled debut album which went double platinum.
