Wale & J. Cole Bask In Twitter Bromance To Celebrate ‘Poke It Out’ Video
For Hip Hop fans who just so happen to be social media fanatics, Wale and J. Cole shared a classic Spiderman pointing meme moment on Twitter in celebration of the release of their “Poke It Out,” video.
In a tweet on Monday (October 3), J. Cole plugged the LCR$-directed visual by humbly soning himself in the process.
“Wale featuring me,” Cole wrote in the tweet stamped with multiple flame emojis.
Leave it to Folarin, though, to one-up The Off-Season rapper’s self-effacing sentiments a step further with his retweeted retort.

Since announcing the collaboration with Dreamville’s commander in chief on Twitter last week, Wale has continued to fan the flames surrounding his upcoming Folarin 2 mixtape by revealing the release date and unveiling preorder for the album via Tweet, also.
“Folarin 2 October 22 I’m ready as ever,” he wrote in the initial tweet before following up the following day on October 2, “The preorder is ready.”

Along with publicly declaring his excitement for Folarin 2, Wale has been anything but meek about his status in the rap game ahead of the project and even crowned himself the “G.O.A.T.” last month in a spicy rant.
“When I say I’m one of the greatest rappers of all time. I mean it with all my heart,” he tweeted. “I’ve put out more QUALITY music than most. My deep cuts are crazy. My singles all got plaques. Decade plus. THAT is why I’m heavy on the gratitude.”
While “Poke It Out” marks the first time Wale and J. Cole have joined forces since their Free Lunch EP banger “My Boy,” his upcoming Folarin 2 effort will serve as the immediate follow-up to the D.C. lyricist’s socially conscious 2020 release The Imperfect Storm EP as well as the first full-length release since his 2019 Wow… That’s Crazy album — which reached the No. 7 spot on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.
