YFN Lucci Claims He 'Made A Way' For All 'New Lil Rappers'

YFN Lucci may be just 29 years old, but he’s already confident he’s a trailblazing rapper. On Tuesday (October 6), the Warner Music Group artist took to his Instagram Stories and claimed he’s responsible for the latest batch of “Lil” rappers.

“I made a way for all yal new lil rappers,” he wrote to his 4.1 million followers. “don’t ever get shit confused and I’ll fuck some shit up quick.”

The Atlanta native has just one studio album under his belt — 2018’s Ray Ray From Summerhill, which debuted at No. 14 on Billboard 200.

However, he’s cranked out numerous EPs and mixtapes over the last three years. His latest project, History, arrived last December via WMG and peaked at No. 152. That same year, his collaborative effort with DJ Drama 650Luc: Gangsta Grillz hit No. 34.

Lucci seems more renowned for his former romantic relationship with Lil Wayne’s daughter Reginae Carter. The couple started dating in 2018 but split in late 2019. In May, Carter told Page Six she will never bring another boyfriend on T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle again.

“I’m not bringing no dudes on the show,” she said. “I’m not making nobody famous. I’m not putting nobody on no more.”
