YoungBoy Never Broke Again Calls Fan From Jail Who Wrote Him Letters

With YoungBoy Never Broke Again remaining behind bars until his June trial, many fans have been writing the Baton Rouge rapper letters to keep him busy. One of the letters sent to the St. Martin Parish jail by a woman fan especially touched him, so he decided to return the favor and give her a call and thank her over the weekend.

“I was calling to thank you for writing me,” YoungBoy said. “I got your letter and it made me smile. I fell in love with your room it was so cool.”

“Oh my gosh, you’re welcome,” she said back to him while nearly breaking out into tears. “I love you so much.”

Even while he’s incarcerated, YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s team is still making sure he supplies his diehard fanbase with new music. He returned on Friday (April 23) with his latest single titled “Territorial,” which finds YoungBoy getting more melodic with his flow.

The 21-year-old is fighting federal weapon and drug charges dating back to 2016 in addition to Louisiana weapon charges related to a September 2020 arrest at a video shoot. He pleaded not guilty earlier in April to one count of felon in possession of a firearm and one count of possession of an unregistered firearm.

YoungBoy also penned a letter to the public to let him suffer in peace as he misses his kids and politely took aim at talk show host Wendy Williams who has been critical of him in the past.

“I can leave my kids millions of dollars to divide but can’t give them the time they truly deserve,” he wrote. “Nobody understand me they never did shit some times I don’t understand myself but that’s fine because I’m okay.”

YoungBoy continued, “I ain’t looking for you to feel sorry for me. I just ask for one thing- let me suffer in peace. Tell MS WENDY WILLIAM I say she got a good soul and she’s a beautiful women. I can see that threw all the bad comments thrown at her. Tell her count her blessings (STAY IN GOOD SPIRIT) Sincerely Kentrell.”
