Amahzi Stahr – The Rising Star From Rochester Who Found Her Voice Through Adversity

For Amahzi Stahr, music has always been a way to connect with the world and express her deepest emotions. Growing up in Rochester, NY, Stahr was surrounded by music from a young age, inspired by her uncle’s R&B group and her grandmother’s gospel singing.

She was traveling,singing and doing shows before her father passed away. He was shot and killed on Father’s Day while she was singing at a “stop the violence” play in her city. She gave up music for years after that. Struggling with grief and uncertainty, eventually she poured her heart into writing and singing, using music as a way to heal and find hope in the face of adversity.

Now, with the release of her debut single “Energy,” Stahr is poised to take the music world by storm. With her unique blend of R&B and hip-hop influences, and her powerful message of resilience and self-discovery, she is an artist to watch in the coming time.
