Angelina Jolie Avoids Answering Question About The Weeknd Relationship

Angelina Jolie is keeping her relationship with The Weeknd under wraps.

Amid ongoing rumors of a romance with the “Take My Breath” singer, the actress was questioned about the nature of their relationship while promoting her new movie, Eternals.

During an appearance on E!’s “Daily Pop,” host Justin Sylvester asked Jolie if her children are more excited about the Marvel Comics film or her friendship with The Weeknd.

Jolie smiled as she answered the question, but successfully avoided any mention of the XO crooner. “They’re very excited about this film, if that’s what you’re asking,” she said while looking at her Eternals co-star Salma Hayek. “They’re very excited about this film.”

Jolie, 46, and The Weeknd, 31, sparked romance rumors after they were seen dining together at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica on two occasions. During their most recent dinner date last month, they arrived separately but left together. Prior to that, they were photographed at a private concert for Mustafa in L.A.

However, it’s still unclear whether they’re actually dating. “They’re clearly not trying to hide [the dinner date],” a source told Page Six. “He’s definitely focused on getting to the movie business. He has the new HBO series he’s starring in.”

The Weeknd is working on his HBO series “The Idol,” and is also gearing up for a new album. He recently teamed up with Swedish House Mafia on the group’s single “Moth to a Flame.”
