Cardi B Opens Up About Her Pregnancy

Cardi B shocked the world by announcing her pregnancy live during Sunday’s BET Awards.

The pregnant rapper joined her husband Offset and Migos on stage at L.A.’s Microsoft Theater while performing their Culture III collaboration “Type Shit” in a sheer crystal-covered Dolce & Gabbana bodysuit that exposed her baby bump. Along with the performance, Cardi shared the first photo from her maternity shoot, wearing a sculptural breastplate.

The following day, she revealed more photos from the stunning shoot. In one pic, a naked Cardi covers her breasts while Offset wraps his arms around her pregnant belly and kisses her neck.

“We listened to each other, communicated, prayed and then God blessed us and our family with another little blessing,” Cardi wrote in her caption. “Our home feels so blissful and very busy but we are ready and so happy!! Thank you soo much everyone for the congrats and well wishes.”

In September 2020, Cardi filed for divorce from Offset before calling it off a few months later. “I just be starting to miss [him],” she said at the time. “It’s hard not to talk to your best friend. And it’s really hard to have no dick.”

Cardi’s daughter Kulture also joined her mother in another photo. The 3-year-old places her hand on her mother’s baby bump while wearing matching white outfits and headwraps. “I just know these two will love each other soo much and argue soo much since they’re 3 years apart…just like me and Henny,” Cardi said of her younger sister, Hennessy Carolina. “But one thing for sure is they’ll have each other’s back like no one else ever will.”

This will be the second child for Cardi and fifth for Offset, who celebrated his growing family. “Another blessing,” he wrote on his IG Story.
