Drake Opens Up To Amsterdam Crowd: “I Didn’t Get Here By Being A Piece Of Sh*t”

Every Drake concert lately seems to have a moment that stands out on social media. The rapper, who is currently touring and hyping his upcoming project, Iceman, just had another memorable moment.

This time, it wasn’t particularly about Kendrick Lamar — at least not directly. This time, Drake chose to open up and get candid with fans, expressing his goodness. To be specific, the star got up on stage and expressed to the crowd how good of a person he is.

“I didn’t get here by being a piece of shit, I didn’t get here by being a snake,” he said. Prodding himself further, he continued, “I got here by being good to people, being nice to people, and my karma is straight.” Now, while the message may have had the concert goers hyped, the Internet was a different story.

People were quick to point out Drake’s complicated relationship with The Weeknd, Lil Wayne, Quentin Miller and more, and how being “nice” isn’t how they would describe his behaviour. Still, his core base seemed unmoved and showed conviction in and compassion towards the boy. What do you think?
