Eminem Makes Cameo in Pete Davidson’s ‘Forgot About Dre’ Parody

Shady’s back.

Eminem made a surprise appearance in one of Pete Davidson’s final skits during the Season 47 finale of “SNL.” The “Forgot About Lorne” skit, which was not televised, finds Davidson paying tribute to “SNL” creator Lorne Michaels.

Natasha Lyonne, who hosted this weekend’s show, informs Davidson that Michaels is feeling depressed because he always wanted to make a music video with him. So to show his appreciation for the comedy legend, Davidson decides to do it.

“That guy has literally done everything for me, so I’m gonna pay him back by doing this rap video exactly the way he wrote it,” he says.

Davidson proceeds to make his own rap video, inspired by Dr. Dre’s 1999 hit “Forgot About Dre” featuring Eminem. But Shady interrupts his music video shoot to express his disapproval.

“What are you doing, man?” Eminem asks, clearly ticked off by his latest parody. “I would just stop.”

“Yeah, they all suck,” adds Em. “Just please stop… It’s really bad.”

Davidson tells him, “Honestly, we just do these ’cause we love you so much, Marshall. They’re like a tribute.”

Before leaving, Em warns him, “Pete, don’t fu**in’ do it again.”

This is Davidson’s third time parodying Em. Back in December 2020, the Rap God appeared as part of a Christmas-themed take on “Stan” called “Stu.” Last year, Davidson parodied “Without Me” in a NFTs-inspired skit featuring Jack Harlow.

Last night’s episode marked Davidson’s final “SNL” appearance after eight seasons. During his “Weekend Update” farewell, Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend brought up his ex Ariana Grande and also joked about the “millions of people only watching to see if I bring up Kanye.”
