EYE O MIGHTY TALKS MUSICAL INSPIRATION AMIDST NEW PROJECT

Eye O Mighty also known as King, a rising hip hop and R&B artist, credits Kendrick Lamar’s performance at the BET awards in 2012 as the inspiration that got him into music. Since then, King has been creating his own unique sound showcase, using intuition and borrowing from the universe to write, produce, record, and engineer his music. His latest project, IOTA 1, features collaborations with Nigel Greene, aka damn Charlie.

When asked about his dream collaboration, he mentioned SZA, as well as prominent West Coast artists like Vince Staples, Kendrick Lamar, Baby Keem, TANNA Leone, and Tyler. He also expressed a desire to open for big-name acts like Roddy Rich or Drake, with opening for Kendrick Lamar being a “huge win.”

Eye O Mighty’s message to his fans is to “figure out why you do what you do and what you will do for that why to be the result of your success.” He also shared that his most useless talent is being able to embarrass the people he loves in a way that makes them smile.

In his downtime, he can be found singing in the shower to his own music, as well as songs by SZA and Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.” When asked what he would be doing if it wasn’t for his music career, King replied that he would either be dead or in a place nobody wants to be.

With IOTA 1 out now, Eye O Mighty’s star is on the rise. Keep an eye out for this talented artist as he continues to make waves in the hip hop and R&B scene.
