French Montana & Max B Team Up For New Album ‘Coke Wave 3.5: Narcos’: Listen
Max B is out of prison and hungrier than ever, blessing the mic after 15 years of being on the inside. The rapper, who is best known for popularising the term ‘wavy,’ has teamed up with none other than French Montana to churn out an impressive 23-track project that the two can be proud of.
The album is called Coke Wave 3.5: Narcos, and runs a little over an hour worth of playtime with features and production from people like Metro Boomin, Harry Fraud and Chinx. The rapper, in fact, reclaimed the term ‘wavy’ in a clever move by opening the album with a song titled ‘Make America Wavy Again (MAWA),’ flipping Donald Trump’s infamous ‘Make America Great Again’ slogan in his own unique way.
The album art is interesting too, and features both French Montana and Max B painted in a manner that reminds one of the Grand Theft Auto covers when really thought about.
Behind their faces, one can see all things New York, including the Apollo Theatre, a board reading ‘Harlem,’ and another reading ‘Welcome to Bronx.’ Not to mention elements relating to a heist that litter the foreground, as well as a ‘wave’ — a subtle shoutout to Max B’s contribution to rappers’ lexicon.
