From The Raq and It Is A Home Run.
Ace Tha Don just dropped “From the Raq” & it is a hit! The concept behind it showcases Chicago and Los Angeles like never before. Chicago being the city of endless crime and of course another home of vicious violence being Los Angeles! Ace Tha Don has set the tone for both wordplay and visuals as he steps closer to his goals as an independent artist rising to the occasion once more.
The visuals for “From The Raq” were shot both in Los Angeles, California at the Staples Center and in Chicago, Illinois at the former Comiskey Park, home to the Chicago White Sox baseball team .
In Los Angeles, it was the lights and the surroundings that attracted him to the Staples Center. His thoughts right at that moment was that of seeing a perfect scene at the landmark for so many Los Angeles residents. I must say a flawless pick for Ace Tha Don.
The other part of the video was shot at the White Sox stadium where it is a landmark for many Chicago residents. As Ace Tha Don is a Chicago resident himself, he had to do it for the city hence the song, “From The Raq.” The song, igniting not only another spark in both cities but in wordplay, bursts into a hard verse about snitching and keeping the circle tight and abiding by a street code!
Ace Da Don drops big names like Gunna and 69 where they were both recorded telling, well.. in Ace Tha Don’s case, snitching. “From the Raq” highlights the ongoing Young Thug rico case. It seems we know which side he is playing too!! Nevertheless, “From The Raq” is a very exciting song that will turn the listener up in ways unimaginable & everybody seems to like it.
